I am a licensed and experienced Level 2 Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, and am a registered nurse with mental health credentials and extensive experience.
I have worked in the mental health and addiction field for over 30 years, and have also completed several tertiary and short courses in health, mental health, therapeutic approaches and counselling during that time.
I have completed Level 1 & Level 2 IFS trainings through Internal Family Systems Canada, along with many courses offered through the IFS Institute in the USA and other IFS-based organisations.
In the last several years I have settled upon Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy as the primary model underpinning my therapeutic approach. I believe and have witnessed that it is a very effective method of getting to and healing the root cause/s of attachment wounding and consequent anxious attachment problems.
I am dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey towards self-discovery and healing. I am passionate about helping clients navigate attachment challenges, working toward a renewed sense of wholeness and emotional well-being, free of the long term damaging and devastating effects of attachment wounds sustained in childhood.
